Martin John Bonney is a lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University and a PhD candidate at the Royal College of Art. A Fellow of the Royal Anthropological Institute, his research examines sustainable craft futures through creative and design anthropology, investigating how craft-assembled communities respond to the global climate emergency through situated material practices. Alongside his academic research, Martin is a craft practitioner specialising in embroidery and mixed-media textiles. His work bridges critical inquiry and practice-based research, foregrounding regional design knowledge, collaborative making, and cross-cultural exchange within contemporary craft and fashion systems

Dr. Emmanuel Godwin Oyiwona

Dr. Emmanuel Godwin Oyiwona is a seasoned Environmental Microbiologist and Chief Lecturer at Benue State Polytechnic, Ugbokolo, Nigeria. He holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Microbiology from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, with international research experience at Hokkaido University, Japan, and further training at the University of Cape Town. His research focuses on Environmental Microbiology, Water quality, Microbial fuel cells, and Sustainable Environmental Technologies. Dr. Oyiwona has authored several textbooks and numerous peer-reviewed publications in reputable journals. He is a member of the Nigerian Society for Microbiology and has served on the editorial board of Frontiers in Environmental Microbiology. Beyond academia, he has held key public service roles, including Commissioner for Environment, Health, Education, and Science and Technology in Benue State, contributing significantly to policy and sustainable development initiatives.

WP4 Lead (AI & Data) on the Horizon Europe RIA PEST-SHIELD consortium (6 million euros, 11 partners). IEEE-published researcher, author of two books on AI and responsible innovation available internationally, and recipient of the African Under-40 CEO Award (2025). His cross-border expertise spanning regulated UK public sector delivery, fintech SaaS engineering, and deep tech startup leadership positions him as a versatile technology executive equally effective in the boardroom, the lab, and the delivery programme.
